Back Description Our Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil is Cold Pressed And Full Of Flavour. Our oil is gently cold pressed under 50c which helps to retain all the precious minerals and nutrients such as healthy fats and antioxidants. Cold pressed olive oil contains higher levels of Oleic acid which are healthy monosaturated fats. Oleic acid helps to retain the quality of the oil for longer. High levels of vitamins and healthy fats make it great for frying, roasting, baking, sautéing and using straight from the bottle as a salad dressing or bread dip. In order to produce this healthiest form of oil, the olives are washed and then ground in stone mills forming a paste. The paste is then pressed to extract the oil. Our oil comes from the first press which results in an exceptionally high quality olive oil. Extra virgin olive oil is the highest quality, made from cold-pressed olives without chemicals. It has a stronger flavour and lower acidity than regular virgin olive oil, which is slightly more processed. Extra virgin olive oil has an acidity level of 0.8% or less, while virgin olive oil falls between 0.8% and 2%. Anything above that is considered regular olive oil. Our oil comes in a handy 500ml container which makes it practical for drizzling. If you like using olive oil, try infusing it with some of our organic herbs, including basil, oregano and rosemary.
